One of our core values as a company is that “We care” for our clients, staff as well as the community. Following these values, we set out from office and went to touch some hearts in our community on the 12th of December, 2021.
We were welcomed in Jajja Flora’s Children’s home located in Kira town. This is an orphanage that was started by Madam Florence in the year 1990 with just a few children. Her way of survival was through gardening in other people’s farms who in return gave her some food and also farming on borrowed land. Sometimes good Samaritans would give her handouts.
She would also get new dependant children from parents who would literally just abandon them at her door step and the police too would bring her abandoned homeless children to look after. Having got her contact online, we set out with good amounts of food items to give a helping hand to this children’s home
By the end of the visit and through our interactions, as a company we believe we had shown loyalty to our company core value of caring and hence making the world a better place. As KAS Engineering we therefore pledge to continue supporting our community and growing together with them.
